چکیده
Person authentication using biometric information has recently become popular among researchers. User management based on biometrics is more reliable than that conventional methods. To secure private information, it necessary to build continuous authentication-based user systems. Brain waves are suitable modalities for authentication. This study brain evoked by invisible visual stimuli. Invisible stimulation considered over overcome the obstacles faced a when system. stimuli confirmed changing intensity of image and presenting high-speed stimulation. ensure invisibility, different intensities were tested, with an 5 % was be invisible. improve verification performance, wavelet transform introduced Fourier because extracts both time frequency from wave. The scalogram obtained used as individual feature synchronizing template test data. Furthermore, synchronization waveband split power distribution scalogram. A performance evaluation 20 subjects showed equal error rate 3.8 %.

Enhancement of visual evoked potentials by stimulation during low prestimulus EEG stages.
A new algorithm for averaging of visual evoked potentials (VEPs) is introduced and compared with the conventional method. The root mean square (RMS) values of the alpha and theta band EEG activities at the vertex 1-s preceding stimulus presentation were computed: stimuli were blocked during phases of high prestimulus activity. Stimulation was applied selectively during periods of low activity. ...

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an effective method for establishing a causal link between a cortical area and cognitive/neurophysiological effects. Specifically, by creating a transient interference with the normal activity of a target region and measuring changes in an electrophysiological signal, we can establish a causal link between the stimulated brain area or network and the e...
متن کاملModification of saccades evoked by stimulation of frontal eye field during invisible target tracking.
We investigated the internal representation of invisible moving targets using electrical microstimulation in the prefrontal cortex. Monkeys were trained to make saccades to the extrapolated position of a small moving target that was rendered invisible during part of its trajectory. Although the target was invisible, involuntary saccades were evoked by electrical microstimulation of the frontal ...

متن کاملReliability of Motor Evoked Potentials Induced by Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation: The Effects of Initial Motor Evoked Potentials Removal
Introduction: Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a useful tool for assessment of corticospinal excitability (CSE) changes in both healthy individuals and patients with brain disorders. The usefulness of TMS-elicited motor evoked potentials (MEPs) for the assessment of CSE in a clinical context depends on their intra-and inter-session reliability. This study aimed to evaluate if removal ...
